Our very own Mayon Volcano was included in the list of the wold’s top 10 most photogenic volcanoes.
Mayon Volcano is located in the province of Albay. It is known renowned as the “perfect cone” volcano in the country because of it’s almost symmetrical conical shape. It was also declared as one of the country’s national park and a protected landscape. Perhaps, it is also one of the active volcanoes in the country.
An article being published on CNN website, Mt. Mayon was featured and considered as one of the top 10 volcanoes in the world which are the most photogenic one. Mt. Mayon ranked 9th in the list of a writer named Leslie Patrick of the most photogenic volcanoes all around the world.
Indeed, this said volcano already erupted for 47 times since 1616. And it still retained it’s perfect cone over the years. It last erupted in 2013.
Based on his article, he said that “Anywhere. This volcano is known for its perfect conical shape.”

Actually, it is known to all Filipinos that Mt. Mayon is close to perfection volcano in the country having such a perfect cone. It’s view while you’re on the top of it is really amazing and great. And that great experience is really wanted to be tried by everybody.
Now, being 9th in the top 10 list of Patrick proves tht Mt. Mayon in the Philippines is not only known by Filipinos but also by other people all over the world making it another country’s pride.
