Kapuso actress Jackie Rice is now involved in a controversy after her video scolding an old woman went viral on Facebook. Netizens aired their mixed reactions with the said video which was originally posted by Wish Ko Lang Facebook Page.

The viral video has no clear description, but Wish Ko Lang just added the following caption: “Hindi raw sinasadya ng tagahanga ni Jackie Rice na maubo sa harap ng kaniyang idolo. Pero ang artista, parang hindi natuwa sa paghingi ng tawad niya. Bakit kaya ganito ang reaksiyon ni Jackie?”
According to some netizens they were offended with Jackie Rice gesture on her conversation with the old woman although some netizens defended the actress that the scene was scripted and just part of a “Wish Ko Lang” episode.
One commenter even noted that the video posted by Wish Ko Lang is not nice, he was quoted as saying “honestly Wish Ko Lang. this is not nice, kung scripted ito tapos i-popost nyo sa page ninyo nakakalikha kayo ng mis understanding sa publiko. kung i-popost nyo buo dapat. hindi yung basta ganito nalang mambabastos ng matanda. hindi magandang example ito sa mga makakapanood lalo na sa kabataan. kung ratings ang habol nyo? aba mag isip naman kayo!” the Facebook user noted.
The original video posted by Wish Ko Lang had already garnered more than 6,600 Shares and thousands Facebook Likes. Aside from the said video, another Facebook User identified as Aj Javier reposted the video online and garnered more than 35,000 Shares which is more popular compared to the original video.
Based upon the second video posted on Facebook, netizens aired their negative sentiments on Jackie Rice, without knowing that the original video was posted by Wish Ko Lang. This could be a big blow Jackie Rice’ showbiz career, because the supposed promotional video got some negative reactions from netizens.
