Kapamilya star Jessy Mendiola will portray for the first time the role of a nun in the August 30, 2014 episode of longest-running drama anthology “Maalaala Mo Kaya (MMK).”
The “Maria Mercedes” actress will play the role of a young nun named Marie who will crossed her path with Nick, the man she fell in love with before she entered the monastery.
The 21-year-old actress who was known for her sexy roles will reprise a role different from what she used to portray. Faith and love will be tested in the upcoming episode since she will find herself having a feeling with Nick.
Independent movie actor Edgar Allan Guzman will be portraying the role of Nick. The upcoming episode of MMK featuring Jessy Mendiola will star withVangie Martelle, Karen Dematera, Alex Diaz, AJ Muhlach, Lemuel Pelayo, Lloyd Samartino, Chienna Filomena, and Kristel Fulgar.
MMK’s August 30, 2014 episode is written by Joan Habana at Arah Jell Badayos and directed by Garry Fernardo.
Jessy Mendiola came to prominence played the role of Maria Mercedes in the ABS-CBN remake of the 1995 Mexican telenovela. Her upcoming appearance on MMK will mark her return on Philippine TV, half a year since Maria Mercedes concluded.
