Derek Ramsay Files Counter-Affidavit Vs Ex-wife Mary Christine Jolly

The hunk actor Derek Ramsay has filed a counter-affidavit against his former wife  Mary Christine Jolly who sued him for allegedly violating the Republic Act No. 9262 or the Anti-Violence Against Women and Their Children.

On Wednesday August 20, 2014, the “Trophy Wife” actor together with his lawyer Atty. Joji Alonso went to the Makati Prosecutor’s Office to file his counter-affidavit.

Derek Ramsay was reportedly sued by his non-showbiz wife on June. According to getitfromboy.net, Mary Christine Jolly stated in her complaint that she suffered “emotional, psychological and economical abuse” during their 12 years of marriage.

Mary Cristine Jolly, who got married to Derek Ramsay in 2002, claimed  that their marriage was not yet annulled. She also stated that the TV 5 actor has failed to do his role as a father to their 11-year-old son named Austin Gabriel Ramsay and to support him financially.

In an interview with the media, Derek Ramsay said that he stated in his complaint-affidavit that there are only two things that are true in Mary Christine Jolly’s complaint. First is he was married to her in 2002 and the other one is they have a son.

Derek Ramsay explained also why he kept him son, whom he only admitted in 2011. He said that he have to protect their son from the media since he was just about to study in the country that time.

According to some reports, there are speculations that Mary Christine Jolly is currently in Dubai working as model.
