Kapatid actor Derek Ramsay will be battling a court battle after her estranged wife only identified as Mary Christine Jolly filed a case against the actor. Derek Ramsay allegedly married Mary Christine Jolly during the year 2002 in the Province of Bulacan through a civil wedding ceremony.
Mary Christine Jolly, the alleged wife of the 37-year-old Derek Ramsay, filed a case for violation of Republic Act No. 9262 or the Anti-Violence Against Women and Their Children Act of 2004. The case was filed by Mary Christine Jolly’s lawyers last June 27, 2014 as reported by Pep.p.
Derek Ramsay was previously in a relationship with Kapamilya actress Angelica Panganiban, her girlfriend for almost six years, their relationship ended citing Derek’s marriage with Mary Christine Jolly as one of the reason.
According to the complaint filed against the actor, Derek Ramsay has failed to fulfill his role as a father and has not been providing any support for his child. In response to the case filed against Derek Ramsay, lawyer Joji Alonso, the legal counsel of the actor noted that the allegations against his client are a “bunch of lies.” he stated.
During the past few days articles revealing the identity of Derek Ramsay’s wife were posted on various news network and blogs in the Philippines but non of them were confirmed by the estranged wife of the actor herself.
There are speculations that the alleged wife of Derek Ramsay is currently in Dubai working as a model. Derek Ramsay and Mary Christine Jolly were married on 2002 but split after just six months, they were gifted with a son who is already 11 years old right now.
