President Benigno Aquino came under attacked by some netizens after he mentioned “6.5 Billion Trabaho” during his State of the Nation Address on Monday, July 29, 2014. A photo posted by Inquirer.net on their official Facebook account, went viral online after it was shared thousands of times on Facebook citing the President’s mistake during his SONA 2014.

The 6.5 Million is at 13:20 Part of the Video
Although the President mentioned the figures “6.5 Billion Trabaho” during his speech but based upon the transcript released by Malacanang right after the SONA of the Philippine President. There is no such figure, the only figure mentioned is the “6.5 Million Trabaho” based upon the SONA’s Transcript.
PhilNews.ph researchers investigated the said controversial “6.5 Billion Trabaho” mentioned by Inquirer.net on their Facebook, but based upon the replay of the President’s SONA, he only mentioned “6.5 Million Trabaho.” At around 13:20 in the video above, the President mentioned the numbers of jobs created.
Various netizens posted their negative comments on the Facebook Page of Inquirer without reviewing the tape or the replay video of the President’s SONA. Filipinos who are against the administration commented negatively on the post.
The 2014 SONA of President Benigno Simeon Aquino III is considered as one of the most emotional SONA by the President and one of his best so far as mentioned by Rep. Teddy Locsin in a TV interview.
