Anthony Taberna’s Wife Rossel to Appear in INC Play (Video)

Actress-host Kris Aquino announces that Rossel Taberna, the wife of ABC-CBN broadcast journalist Anthony Taberna is set to appear in Iglesia ni Cristo (INC)s play titled “Sugo: The Last Messenger” which will premiere on Sunday, July 27, 2014 during its centennial anniversary celebration.

According to ABS-CBN News, “Sugo: The Last Messenger” was supposed to be a biological movie on the life of Felix Manalo, INC’s first Executive Minister. The play was initially planned to star with Richard Gomez, Albert Martinez and Senator Bong Revilla Jr.

However, is was allegedly been cancelled over Senator Bong’s involvement on controversial pork barrel scam. The actor-turned-politician was found guilty on the case and he is currently detained in Sandiganbayan.

Although the Queen of All Media is a devout Catholic, she came across to congratulate INC for its record-breaking achievement. She is referring to the inauguration of Philippine Arena, the world’s largest indoor stadium which was attended by her brother, President Noy-Noy Aquino.

Kris Aquino noted that she is proud for Iglesia Ni Cristo as they reached another milestone.

Philippine Arena which began its construction on August 17, 2011 and ended last May 30, 2014 is expected to be installed at around P7-billon. The world’s largest indoor stadium was enclosed with 55,000 spectators capacity.

Meanwhile, the national government earlier announced that INC’s centennial celebration will be  a non-working holiday. This is to give way to the 100th year celebration of one of the country’s most popular local-born religion.
