List of Government Officials with Highest Salaries for 2013

The national government released the latest list of highest earning government officials or the list of the Government Officials with Highest Salaries for the year 2013 based upon the Commission on Audit’s (COA) Report on Salaries and Allowances (ROSA).

Salary Report

Based upon the latest report of COA, the general manager of the Government Service Insurance System (GSIS) Mr. Robert Vergara, topped the list of highest-earning government officials. The GSIS general manager, Robert Vergara received a total of P12,088,476.14 in salaries and allowances during the year 2013.

The GSIS general manager was also the highest-paid government officials during the year 2012. Ranked second as the highest-earning government official is the Chief Executive Officer of Land Bank of the Philippines (LBP), Gilda Pico, who received a total of P10,292,930. During the 2012 COA report, the LBP President and CEO only earned around P3.4 million.

The Commission on Audit (COA) 2013 ROSA report listed principal officers and members of governing boards of government-owned and/or controlled corporations (GOCCs) and of their subsidiaries and by secretaries, undersecretaries, assistant secretaries and other officials of equivalent rank of national government agencies who received salaries and allowances in fiscal year 2013.
