Sandiganbayan Enters “Not Guilty” Plea for Sen. Bong Revilla

Senator Bong Revilla did not enter a “Not Guilty” plea during the arraignment of the Senator who was accused with graft and plunder charges at Sandiganbayan on Thursday, June 26, 2014, therefore the Sandiganbayan First Division entered a “Not Guilty” plea for Sen. Bong Revilla.

The 47-year-old Senator Revilla is the only accused who did not enter a “Not Guilty” plea, other accused such as the alleged mastermind of the PDAF scam, Janet Lim-Napoles and Sen. Revilla’s aide Richard Cambe pleaded “Not Guilty,” during the arraignment.

The lawmaker, Sen. Bong Revilla together with his aide, Richard Cambe, Janet Lim-Napoles, Sen. Jinggoy Estrada, and a total of 33 co-accused, were charged with the controversial PDAF scam.

According to Sandiganbayan out of the 33 accused a total of 23 were arraigned because other suspects were still at large. Two of the suspects who were at large were identified as Ronald John Lim and her driver John Raymund de Asis.

Sen. Bong Revilla faces 16 counts of grafts at Sandiganbayan aside from the plunder case he is facing right now. The Senator’s co-accused are listed below:
