Michael Farenas Finds Replacement Foe, Takes on Hector Velazquez on March 21

Michael Farenas got replacement foe for his delayed fight as former Manny Pacquiao’s opponent, Hector Velazquez was tabbed to duel him on March 21.

After his scheduled opponent Michael Zamudiowithdrew just days before their boutinitially set on March 14, event promoters Pacquiao, Gerry Penalosa, and Anson Tiu-Co finally found a replacement for the Mexican boxer to still hold the fight for Farenas.

Velasquez, who has campaigned in featherweight, super featherweight, and lightweight divisions, holds a record of 56 wins-20 loss-3 draws with 38 Knockouts.

The veteran boxer, who had been a victim of Filipino boxing icon Pacquiao in 2005, recently went in the canv(–foul word(s) removed–) in January and won four of his last six fights dating from last year all by knockouts.
