Lupita Nyong ‘O Winner in Oscars 2014 Best Supporting Actress

Lupita Nyong ‘O was declared as the winner of the 2014 Academy Awards Best Actress in a Supporting role during the awarding ceremony held on Sunday, March 2, 2014 (Monday Morning Philippines) on her portrayal in the top-grossing movie “12 Years Slave.”

The 31-year-old Lupita Nyong ‘O won her first feature film role, she also received a standing ovation during the awarding ceremony at the Oscars 2014 held a at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood.

The Kenyan actress Lupita Nyong ‘O, who was admired by Brad Pitt as one of Hollywood’s future stars, she played the role of a hardworking slave “Patsy” in the drama film. She was able to beat Oscars frontrunner Jennifer Lawrence who portrays the role of a loopy housewife in “American Hustle.”
