It’s Showtime co-host and actor Vhong Navarro will be back to the acting scene as he is set to resume filming for the movie “Da Possessed” after the mauling incident happened last January 22, 2014. The announcement of Vhong Navarro’s return to showbiz was made by Star Cinema on Monday.

The 37-year-old Vhong Navarro is currently recovering from his serious injuries suffered from the alleged mauling of the actor inside a condominium unit at The Fort which involved controversial personalities such as businessman Cedric Lee and Deniece Cornejo.
The Star Cinema-produced movie titled “Da Possessed” is directed by Joyce Bernal. The movie will also feature “The Legal Wife” main star Angel Locsin and comedian John Lapus.
Last January 2014, one of the newest Kapamilya actress, Ellen Adarna claimed that she is part of the movie but based upon the recent announcement made by Star Cinema only Angel Locsin and John Lapus were named as part of the movie.
John Lapus on his part revealed to the media earlier that the shooting of the movie “The Possessed” had started last December 2013, month before the mauling incident at The Fort condo unit.
Vhong Navarro and Angel Locsin have been working with each other in one of the top-rating comedy sitcom on national TV “TodaMax,” that also features Pokwang and Ai Ai delas Alas. One of the main character of the sitcom Robin Padilla left TodaMax due to some showbiz commitments.
Netizens were also eager to see Vhong Navarro on It’s Showtime but as of press time there is no exact date of Vhong’s return to the noon-time show as co-host.
