24 Schools Vie 2014 Seaoil NBTC National High School Title from March 6-9

National University Juniors and Hope Christian Academy led the 24 high school teams named to contend in the 2014 Seaoil NBTC League National High School Finals that will be held from March 6-9 at the Meralco Gym and Ynares Center in Pasig.

The long list of secondary schools, which emerged champions in their respective leagues from all over the nation are bracketed in two divisions.

The NU teams A and B and the Hope Christian are grouped in the Division 1 with St. Francis of (–foul word(s) removed–)isi College (North Cavite), Sacred Heart School-Ateneo and University of San Carlos (Cebu), West Negros College (Bacolod), Iloilo Central Commercial High, Sacred Hearth of Jesus Montessori (Cagayan de Oro), Southern City College (Zamboanga) and Chiang Kai Shek.

Division 2 on the other hand will have De La Salle-Lipa, Jesus the Loving Shepherd (Naga), University of the Cordilleras (Baguio), Divine World Academy of Dagupan, Olongapo City National High, University of (–foul word(s) removed–)umption (San Fernando, Pampanga), Bethel Baptist Christian (Bukidnon) and MMBL’s College of San Benildo, Trinity University of Asia, Reedley International School and Jubilee Christian Academy.

The Bullpups, who prevailed in the UAAP juniors and the Chong-Lian Basketball champions Hope Soldiers are the heavy favorite in this official gr(–foul word(s) removed–)roots development program of the SamahangBasketbolngPilipinas, which has Coach Eric Altamirano as the program director.

The championship of the Division 1 and Division 2, along with the All-star game of country’s high schools stand outs will happen on March 9 at the Ynares Sports Arena and will be aired on BTV.
