During an exclusive interview with Korina Sanchez on TV Patrol on Thursday night, February 6, 2014, Vhong recalled seeing his sons Yce and Bruno last February 2, 2014 with more than a week or exactly 11 days since he was allegedly attacked by Cedric Lee and company.

Vhong Navarro was released yesterday and proceeded to the Department of Justice to sign his affidavit against Deniece Lee, Cedric Lee and the group of the controversial businessman.

The 37-year-old Vhong Navarro was quoted as saying during the interview “Gusto ko maiyak dahil sobrang miss ko sila, pero kailangan kong pigilan po kasi pag makita po nilang umiyak ako, ibig sabihin parang ang-weak ko, e,” the actor said as he recalls his first meeting with his two sons.

Sabi ko, ‘Be strong, be strong.'” Navarro stated.

According to It’s Showtime co-host Vhong Navarro who claimed that he was set up by model Deniece Cornejo for an extortion attempt allegedly led by Cedric Lee. He recalled that he was blindfolded and tied up before being attacked by “six to seven men.”

The actor filed charges against Cedric Lee, Deniece Cornejo and six others last January 28 which includes serious physical injuries, grave threat, grave coercion, unlawful arrest, blackmail, and serious illegal detention — a non-bailable offense.

During the interview with Korina Sanchez on Thursday, Vhong Navarro was so emotional when he related his sons’ words of support amid the controversy. “Sabi nila, ‘Naniniwala kami sa’yo, dad. Naniniwala kami sa’yo. Kaya natin ‘to.'”

“Nakakatuwa rin po kasi syempre sa edad nilang gano’n, alam natin na magulo pa po,” he said. “Pero pilit nilang iniintindi po. Basta sinasabi ko sa kanila, ngayon mas kailangan natin [mag-ingat].”

Vhong Navarro’s two sons Yce and Bruno, whose given names are Isaiah and Fredriek also appeared last January 11, 2014 on “It’s Showtime.”
