Anne Curtis was feeling upset and couldn’t hold back her tears as “It’s Showtime” opened with a moment of silence, a day after the sad news surfaced that Vhong Navarro has been hospitalized after he was beaten by a group of men inside a condo unit in Fort Bonifacio.

The on-screen partner of Vhong Navarro, actress Anne Curtis uttered the following statement:

“Lord God, as we bow our heads with heavy hearts,” Curtis said, sobbing. “We ask Lord that you play your healing hand upon our brother, Vhong. Bigyan niyo po siya ng lakas. Paramdam niyo po sa kanya yung pagmamahal niyo, na malaman niya na nandiyan ka lang Lord para sa kanya. You will help him get through this. We pray Lord God for his speedy recovery. He will stand tall and he will be saved.”

“We ask you give him comfort, his family comfort. You give everyone that he loves comfort during this time of trial. Lord we lift him up to you that he will be healthy again, he will get through this. Just be with him during this time of tiral. May he know that not only are his friends, his family, his followers, may he know that we are not the only ones there for him.”

“Vhong, we love you and we’re here for you,” she said.

The 28-year-old Anne Curtis along with co-hosts Jhong Hilario, Vice Ganda, and Teddy Corpus earlier voice out their support to Vhong Navarro through their official statement on Twitter.

It’s Showtime co-host Vice Ganda also made a sentimental statement during the January 25 episode of It’s Showtime, he was quoted as saying “Maraming, maraming salamat po sa lahat ng mga Kapamilya na nakasama namin sa pagdadasal kagabi,”  “Sa mga nagparamdam ng kanilang pagmamahal kay Vhong.” Vice Ganda said.
