Rocky Fuentes

Fuentes (35-7, with 20 KO) stood till up to the last ring of the bell but failed to impress the judges scoring one- sided on the Thailander’s favor, 111-117, and two 112-116.

Ruenroeng, an Olympian on 2008, managed to keep Fuentes uncertain with his punches as he showed superior boxing skill to notch his twelfth victory and
remained unblemished.

The Thai boxer was supposed to challenge South African Champion Moruthi Mthalane but the African failed to meet him which results the IBF belt to be vacated.

Fuentes received advices from Eduardo Villamor and Michael Domingo, while his head trainer Edmundo Villamor went to Mexico to train his stable mates Genesis Servania and Milan Melindo.
