Michael Galante, the Filipino-American actor who made an appearance with hip-hop star Jay-Z in a TV commercial wants to do a movie with Filipino boxing icon Manny Pacquiao.

The Fil-Am actor made a career jump five years ago and has booked commercials, film, stage and TV roles after he realized that acting was his true p(–foul word(s) removed–)ion instead of being a dentist.
Michael Galante’s mom is a Filipina originally from Manila. In an interview with ABS-CBN, he was quoted as saying “At first she was a little reluctant because they want me to be secure financially. But now they’re happy. They get to see me in commercials and films, they’re like ‘Oh, you’re not homeless’,” he said referring to his decision of changing career.
Galante moved from the East Coast where he used to live and transferred to Los Angeles to pursue more roles. Michael Galante admitted that he loves boxing so much and dream of one day doing a movie with boxing icon Manny Pacquiao.
The Fil-Am actor Michael Galante became popular when he got a role in a commercial by Mountain Dew and MTV. His latest achievement is his portrayal of the short film “Ring of the Bell,” a boxing short film wherein he plays the role of a boxer.
Michael Galante also starred in “Hypebeasts” by Fil-Am director Jess De la Merced. Michael is from Suffern, New York and graduated from Hamilton College with a degree in biology. He stands 5 feet and 11 inches tall.
