Seahawks Wins NFC Joins Denver Broncos for Super Bowl XLVIII

The Seattle Seahawks defeated the last year’s Super Bowl finalist San Francisco 49ers and win the National Football League’s NFC Championship with the final score of 23-17.

The Seattle Seahawks earned a slot to the United States most prestigious sporting event, the Super Bowl against the Denver Broncos which will be on February 2, 2014, at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey.

The Seahawks advanced to the National Football League title game for the only second time in their 37-year history. The Denver Broncos on the other hand enters the Finals after they won over New England Patriots 26-16 in the AFC Championship.

The Seahawks battled back from a 17-10 deficit midway through the third quarter with 13 unanswered points earning them a slot to the Finals of the National Football League. 

The 2014 Super Bowl or the NFL Championship Game will be played in New Jersey in the first outdoor, winter weather Super Bowl. The Seattle Seahawks vs. Denver Broncos made some NFL history. It will be the first time that the No. 1 seeds from each conference will meet to decide the championship.
