LPA “Agaton” Latest Weather Update (Jan 11-12) 5PM-5AM

According to the latest weather bulletin from PAGASA, issued at around 5:00 PM of January 11, 2014, the Low Pressure Area (LPA) was estimated at around 4:00 PM, based on all available data at 250 kilometers Southeast of General Santos City with coordinates at (4.8ºN, 127.0ºE).

The Northeast Monsoon is still affecting the Luzon Areas. The “LPA” which was supposed to be named as “Agaton” if it develops into a storm failed to become a tropical cyclone according to PAGASA.

Here’s the PAGASA Forecast from 5:00 PM today up to 5:00 AM tommorrow:

The Visayas and Mindanao areas will experience Cloudy skies with Moderate to Heavy rainshowers and thunderstorms with may trigger Flashfloods and Landslides.

The Regions of Cagayan Valley, CALABARZON, Bicol and the Province of Aurora will have cloudy skies with light Light Rains. Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon will be Partly Cloudy to Cloudy with Isolated Light Rains.

Moderate to strong winds blowing from the Northeast will prevail over Luzon and Visayas and coming from the Northeast to North over Mindanao. The coastal waters of the Coastal Waters throughout the Archipelago will be Moderate to Rough.
