Eat Bulaga mainstay and co-host Jose Manalo made headlines anew as he was accused of har(–foul word(s) removed–)ment and set to leave the noon-time show according to a news report posted by Bandera and written by Alex Brosas.
According to the Bandera report, an online petition asking Eat Bulaga to remove Jose Manalo from the show is now making the rounds online after the episode that features Jose Manalo taking advantage of Eat Bulaga’s newest member, actress and model Valerie Weigmann.
The Bandera report was posted online on Wednesday, January 8, 2014, Alex Brosas cited an incident that happened on Saturday’s edition of Eat Bulaga wherein Jose Manalo uttered the words “NANGGIGIGIL ako sa yo VAL, PWEDENG PAHALIK?” Jose said.
The televiewers of of Eat Bulaga cries foul over the incident making them question the character of Jose Manalo and even questioned the Eat Bulaga! management’s action on the incident.

NAGULAT kami sa latest chismis about Jose Manalo. Meron palang move na tsugihin ito sa Eat Bulaga. We read a petition sa isang website, obviously hindi siya loyalistang dabarkads na araw-araw nakatutok sa noontime show ng GMA 7.
Narito ang kanyang hinaing. “NAHA-HIGHBLOOD ako sa NAPANOOD ko kanina sa EAT BULAGA. Paglipat ko ng channel ito ang unang narinig ko, ‘NANGGIGIGIL ako sa yo VAL, PWEDENG PAHALIK?’ – JOSE! GOSH!!!

Nangyari raw ang kabastusan ni Jose kay Valerie na junior member ng show last Saturday. “Last saturday episode ng EB was just really disturbing in a sense na lumalabas ang kulay ni jose bilang babaero just like wally. nakakaawa lang si val, yung trainee na german na talagang pinipilit mahalikan ni jose sa lips.
“Baka pwede namang pagsabihan ng management si jose na piliin ang mga biro at binibitawang salita kasi may mga batang nanonood ng show, it’s a family oriented show after all.
Yung salita nyang ‘mapapasaakin ka din’ regarding sa pilit na pag- iwas nung trainee was so inappropriate. “Manyak na manyak lang ang dating, sorry for the term pero yun lang talaga ang pwedeng itawag sa ginagawa nya. nakakainis pa na tinutulungan pa siya ni ruby na makahalik kay val.

Hindi namin napanood ang nasabing episode at hindi rin kami regular na nanonood ng show kaya hindi kami aware na suspendido raw itong si Jose dahil sa kanyang ginawa kay Val.
