The lone Filipino contestant in the X Factor Israel, Rose Fostanes enters the Final Four of the popular singing competition after she was saved once again by her fans and supporters during the Final 5 Performances.

Rose Fostanes is being dubbed by various blogs and news media organizations in Israel as one of the top contender to win the title as X Factor Israel grand winner.
During the Top 5 performance of Rose Fostanes on Tuesday, she belted out the song popularized by Kelly Clarkson titled “Because of You.” The battle for the first-ever X Factor Israel is now down to just Four Finalist, as Rose Fostanes advance one more step to the grand finals.
The 47-year-old caregiver in Israel who stayed in the country for sixth years already is now considered as one of the most popular figure in Israel. Her family in the Philippines living in Taguig were glad with the recent achievement of Rose Fostanes abroad.
According to Rose Fostanes she sung the song by Kelly Clarkson because of the recommendation of her viewers and supporters. She wanted to follow in the footsteps of the first “American Idol” winner.
In an interview with Manila Bulletin, Rose Fostanes was quoted as saying “I think people should vote for me because I really need this badly. And because of you, because of your vote, maybe my life can change,” Fostanes said. “When I was young, I’m dreaming to be a singer and please don’t (let) my dream end.” she said.
Rose Fostanes represents Shiri Maimon’s Over 25s group, she is joined in the Top 4 by Eden Ben Zaken (Rami Fortis’ Girls category), Uri Shakiv (Moshe Peretz’s Boys) and Fushino (Ivri Lider’s Group).
