Myanmar SEA Games 2013 Opening Ceremony Full Replay Video

The opening ceremony of the 2013 Southeast Asian Games in Myamnar was held successfully on December 11, 2013 at the new capital city of Nay Pyi Taw attended by more than 10,000 crowds. The 27th SEA Games opening ceremony was held at the Wunna Theikdi Stadium.

Myanmar is a nation of 135 tribes and 60 million people welcomed thousands of athletes from beyond its borders in a night of native songs, dances and firework displays as it opened the 27th Southeast Asian Games.

The Southeast Asian country of Myanmar have already demonstrated its sporting prowess as they dominated various sports discipline and currently leading the overall medal tally of the SEA Games. The country has already captured total of 18 golds, seven silver, and nine bronze medals.

The Myanmar SEA Games is participated by a total of 11 countries featuring 460 events in a total of 35 sports events. Myanmar hosted the game for the third time, they had already hosted the 1961 SEA Games and the 1969 SEA Games held respectively in the former capital of Yangoon.

The Philippine delegates to the Myanmar SEA Games is currently placed at the sixth place with a total medal haul of three (3) golds, five (5) silver, and three (3) bronze.
