Kapamilya actress KC Concepcion donates a total of P5 million in cash to the victims of the Typhoon Yolanda particularly in the provinces of Samar and Leyte. KC Concepcion did not reveal her donation to the media but actress Kris Aquino.
According to Kris Aquino on her TV program on ABS-CBN, KrisTV, KC Concepcion gave her donations to the victims of Typhoon Yolanda and followed the example set by her mother, the Megastar Sharon Cuneta who pledged earlier with P10 million to victims of Typhoon Yolanda.
Kris Aquino was quoted as saying that, “I salute you, KC, for this act of generosity, na extreme generosity. Nakakabilib talaga. Hindi ikaw ang nagyabang nito, ako ang nagpaabot. And I asked your permission,” Kris Aquino stated.
The TV-host, Kris added further that out of the P5 million she donated, P3 million will be given to the victims immediately, while the remaining P2 million will be given to the victims for the rehabilitation efforts of the province.
On Sharon Cuneta’s part, she tweeted earlier that she will be donating P5 million to the Aboitiz Foundation while the remaining P5 million will be given to the Alagang Kapatid Foundation of TV5.
Meanwhile Kris Aquino announced earlier that she donated P400,000 to the people of Ormoc City Leyte, through representative Lucy Torres. Richard and Lucy also tweeted and posted a photo of the check given by Kris as donation to Typhoon Yolanda victims.
