Track of Tropical Depression Zoraida from Mindanao to Visayas

PAGASA released the latest updates of the track of Tropical Depression Zoraida at around 5:00 PM, November 11, 2013. According to the latest weather bulletin by PAGASA, at 4:00 PM today, the Tropical Depression “Zoraida” was estimated based on all available data at 634 km Southeast of Hinatuan, Surigao del Sur (5.8ºN, 131.5ºE) with a maximum sustained winds of 55 kph. It is forecast to move West Northwest at 30 kph.

Zoraid is expected on Tuesday afternoon in the vicinity of Agusan del Sur, on Wednesday it will be 100 km Southeast of Coron, Palawan and Thursday it is forecast to be at 810 km West of Ambulong, Batangas.

PAGASA estimates the rainfall amount is from 5-15 mm per hour (moderate-heavy) within the 300 km diameter of the Tropical Depression. Sea travel is risky over the Northern seaboarf of Northern Luzon and the Eastern seaboards of Northern and Central Luzon.

The Filipino public and the disaster risk reduction and management council concerned are advised to take appropriate actions and watch for the next bulletin to be issued at aroun 11:00 PM today.
