The Miss Universe 2013 Preliminary Round will be held this coming November 5, 2013 featuring the 86 official candidates on their swimsuit and evening gown attire vying for the Top 16 in the world’s most prestigious beauty pageant.

Although the results have not been revealed, a controversial results of the Top 16 was allegedly posted by one of the preliminary judges identified as former Miss Universe Canada Elena Semikina. The Canadian beauty allegedly posted an Instagram photo of the preliminary results and rankings.

An Instagram photo surfaced recently taken from the 30-year-old actress and film producer Semikina who inadvertently made public the preliminary scores of the Miss Universe 2013 Preliminary competition results.

The photo was firs posted by blogger Missoology.org but our beauty pageant experts and fashion bloggers could not confirm the authenticity of the photo that was allegedly posted by Elena Semikina. As of posting time, the photo is not available on the official Elena Semikina’s Instagram account.
Based upon the alleged Instagram photo posted by Elena Semikina, there are only few countries that are readable including the Philippines which is ranked at the Top 12 based upon the blurry photo. Topping the list are candidates from Great Britain, Spain, Poland, Ukraine, Venezuela and Russia.

Hoax or not, I am rooting for Miss Philippines, and Miss Spain in the Top 15. I hope Australia and Israel would be in Top 15 of Miss Universe 2013. Being in the Top 15 is most important because after the semi-finals, it would be anybody’s game. May the best girl wins!
