According to Glenn Campos, MNTC (–foul word(s) removed–)istant Vice President for Traffic and Operations Management, starting on October 31 to November 3, the “Safe Trip Mo, Sagot Ko” motorist (–foul word(s) removed–)istance program, will be activated by providing additional manpower to enhance its services.

The program “Safe Trip Mo, Sagot Ko,” aims to intensify the services in both the North Luzon Expressway (NLEX) and CAVITEX. Under the said program, motorists can avail themselves of free first aid treatment, 24-hour mechanic services, as well as WiFi connection in designated locations.

For the traffic management plan, Campos stated that additional toll tellers, and traffic management and security personnel will be deployed in response to the expected heavy traffic volume during the long break.

MNTC already (–foul word(s) removed–)igned five spare lanes to be opened in Dau tollgate starting on October 31 and November 1, 2013 while on November 3 and 4, 2013 the cash paying motorists using Cl(–foul word(s) removed–) 1 vehicles will be opened in Bocaue toll plaza.

The NLEX has a daily average of 160,000 vehicles but it will probably increase by 10 to 15 percent for the four-day break. Aside from the above-mentioned preparations, traffic advisory signs will be installed along NLEX to warn motorists of traffic build-ups in major toll plazas.
