Bohol Cebu 7.2 Earthquake October 15, 2013 Photos and Videos

The island of Bohol and Cebu was rattled by a 7.2 earthquake on Tuesday, October 15, 2013. Initial reports from Phivolcs revealed that the epicenter of the earthquake was located at 2 kilometers southeast of Carmen, Bohol (09.80°N, 124.20°E).

The 7.2 earthquake that hit the Visayas region has a depth of 33 kilometers, and was tectonic in origin, according to the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) on its initial report.

The worst earthquake of the year was felt across the Visayas and Mindano area with people from as far as Zamboanga and Davao cities reported to have felt the major earthquake the hits the region.

  1. Maybe it’s time to stop the Catholic idol worship. Think about all the old churches that were damaged by this earthquake. I believe this is just a wake-up call. You Catholics and stop worshipping gods made with man’s hands. One of the 10 commandments states that.

  3. It’s high time to turn to the one true and living God, not the one made by man’ hands such as saints and images etc. They are idols. That’s why all the historic churches are destroyed. God may not spare people next time. This could very well just be a warning! After all He is a consuming fire!!

  4. Why pray to God for help when disaster strikes? Go back to your idols and pray to them for help! Maybe they will stay awake this time and not let disaster catch you like a thief in the night. Praying to idols reminds me of Elijah and the idols worshippers of Baal (aka The Lord). Guess who was proven false? Here’s a hint: Read 1 Kings 18 if your not busy kissing a picture and a dead rock.
