153,387 To Take Civil Service Exam on Sunday, October 13, 2013

The Civil Service Commission (CSC) of the Philippines announced that there are 153,387 registered examinees will take part in the Career Service written examination on Sunday, October 10, 2013.

CSC 2013 Exam Results

The PRC reminded all examinees to check their school and room (–foul word(s) removed–)ignment through the Online Notice of School (–foul word(s) removed–)ignment at the CSC Official website. All examinees should print the said notice of school (–foul word(s) removed–)ignment and bring it, together with a valid I.D. card as these are the required to be presented for verification on the day of the exam.

The CSC disclosed that they have prepared a total of 143 testing centers across the country with a total of 86% taking the Professional Level while the rest will take the Supprofessional Level of examination.

Based upon the CSC records, Southern Tagalog posted the biggest number of examinees at 24,233 at 15.80% of the total number of registered examinees in both Prof and SubProf Level. The NCR has a total of 17,628 examinees or 14.49%, Central Luzon (Region III) has 13,194 and Western Visayas has 11,509.

The CSC career service examination is a general ability test designed to measure an individual’s preparedness to enter government service. The Career Service Professional examinations covers 150 questions in English and Filipino in a total of three-hour test. Subject areas of the test includes the following: vocabulary, grammar and correct usage, paragraph organization, reading comprehension, analogy, logic, and numerical reasoning.

  1. Would like to know if the exam in Nueva Ecija will still push through considering what had just happened because of Typhoon Santi.
