Kobe Paras Wins FIBA U-18 3×3 Slam Dunk Contest (Video)

Kobe Paras of the Philippines, the son of PBA Rookie MVP Benjie Paras was named as the slam dunk winner in the FIBA Under-18 3×3 tournament during the finals held in Jakarta, Indonesia.

The 15-year-old Kobe Paras, currently studying high school at the La Salle Greenhills was able to capture the attention of the judges as well as the whole basketball lovers who gathered at the venue.

Paras took home the slam dunk title after dunking over teammate Thirdy Ravena, the son of PBA star Bong Ravena, who was sitting on a motorcycle during Kobe’s dunk. He was the youngest among the finalist during the 3×3 slam dunk finals.

Kobe Paras defeated Demonte Flannigan of the Unites States and Antonio Morales of Spain for the slam dunk title.  Paras rose to fame worldwide when he first dunk over Miami Heat forward Lebron James during the NBA superstar’s Nike Witness Tour in Manila last July that went viral on the internet.
