The Philippine representative to Miss World 2013, Megan Young made it to the Miss World 2013 Beach Fashion event finals, after the 33 semi-finalists were trimmed down to just 11 candidates.
The Miss World 2013 Beach Fashion event is one of the important challenges in the Miss World 2013 pageant currently happening in the island of Bali, Indonesia.
The beach beauty competition features contestants wearing a fashionable sarongs instead of bikinis, in respect to Indonesia’s culture being a predominantly Muslim nation. Indonesia is considered as the world’s most populous Muslim country.
The finalists of the Miss World 2013 Beach Fashion was suppose to be consisted of just 10 candidates but the judges couldn’t decide who to put through as the 10th finalist, having a tie.
Megan Young will take part in the special photoshoot to decide who will be the winner of the Beach Fashion event. The winner will be announce September 28 during the Miss World 2013 grand coronation night. The 23-year-old Megan Young is doing well in Indonesia right now, and has been one of the favorites in the competition.
