The Chinese Taipei made a back to back win after they subdued Saudi Arabia on their second at the FIBA Asia Championship 2013 with the final score at 90-67 on Friday at the Mall of Asia Arena.
The Chinese Taipei was led by Cheng-Ju Lu who scored with 2013 points, while Taiwan’s naturalized center Quincy Davis contributed with 14 points and grabbed 10 rebounds.
In Saudi Arabia’s part, Aymam Almuwallad led his team with 15 points, while Marzouq Almuwallad contributed with 14 points. The team will wrap up their preliminary round campaign in the Asian Championship with a matchup against Jordan this coming Saturday.
The Chinese Taipei’s victory will put them ahead of Group A and a highly-anticipated showdown with the host team Philippines this coming Saturday will put their grip in team standing.
