The Gilas Pilipinas will play a warm-up game against Saudi Arabia before tackling the tougher Chines Taipei and Jordan national team, the silver medalist during the last FIBA Asia Championship held in Wuhan, China.

The Saudi Arabian men’s national basketball team is the lowest-ranked team competing in Group A of FIBA Asia. The team made it to the FIBA Asia Finals since the 2005 edition of the biennial meet where it place eighth.

Nasir Abojalas: at 19-years-old, he is the youngest player in 27th FIBA Asia, standing at 195 cm. He played the forward position and instrumental for Team Saudi’s conquest of the silver medal during the 1st FIBA Asia 3X3 Championship.
