Alex Medina is one of the new faces in the Kapamilya Channel playing a commendable performance in his role as “Diego” in the highly-anticipated teleserye “Ina, Kapatid, Anak.”
He became popular only because of his character but he was a seasoned actor, playing some Indie films. Alex Medina is also the son of one of the Philippines veteran actor, Pen Medina.
According to some showbiz insiders he could probably follow the footsteps made by Coco Martin who mastered his acting craft in the Indie Film before moving on to conquer the Philippine television audience.
Alex Medina was formerly studying Marketing in San Beda, but he dropped out to become a full-time actor. He is currently being managed by Manny Valera upon the recommendation made by Indie favorite, Alessandre de Rossi.
Aside from the current role of as the villainous son of Cherry Pie Picache, “Diego,” Pen Medina is also an awarded actor having won the Best Actor trophy in last December’s Cinema One Originals Film Festival.
