Erap Estrada Endorsed Poe, Villanueva & Hagedorn for Senator

Former President and Manila mayoral candidate Joseph “Erap” Estrada has already announced that he endorsed three candidates for Senators not in the line up of the United Nationalist Alliance (UNA). They were Grace Poe, Bro. Eddie Villanueva and Puerto Princesa Mayor Ed Hagedorn.

According to former Pres. Erap, he added the three candidates to complete the line up of the senatorial candidates of his party, the Pwersa ng Masang Pilipino (PMP) to their list of senatoriables. PMP is also part of the UNA Coalition.

The main reasons of choosing Poe, Villanueva, and Hagedorn was because of their pro-poor advocacy. Estrada also explained that his endorsement for Grace Poe was also based on his deep friendship with her late father, action star Fernando Poe Jr. and he knew of her character.

Estrada also endorsed Bro. Eddie Villanueva because of his dedication to the poor’s welfare and Hagedorn, because of his advocacy for the environment and sustainable development.

The former Philippine President is currently running for mayor against incumbent Mayor Fred Lim on the platform JEEP: Jobs (trabaho para sa bawat Manileño), Economy (urban renewal), Environment (waste management) and Peace (peace and order to eliminate criminality and drugs).
