The PRC announced that there are 15,223 secondary teachers out of the 38,433 examinees (39.61%) successfully passed the Licensure Examination for Teachers (L.E.T.) given last March 10, 2013 in 14 testing centers all over the Philippines and Hong Kong.
Meanwhile, there are 10,310 elementary teachers out of 37,117 examinees (27.78%) and 15,223 secondary teachers out of 38,433 examinees (39.61%) successfully passed the Licensure Examination for Teachers (L.E.T.) given last March 10, 2013 in 14 testing centers.
The Licensure Examination for Teachers which kicked off last March 10, 2013 debuted with filing of forms and the examinees were given instructions during the exam. The examination covers General Education and Professional Education on the first part and Specialization on the last part.

The Board for Professional Teachers who conducted the nationwide and international professionalization exam for teachers is composed of Dr. Rosita L. Navarro, Chairman; Dr. Reynaldo T. Peña and Dr. Paz I. Lucido.
The Licensure Examination for Teachers for March 2013 were conducted in various cities in the Philippines particularly in Manila, Cebu, Davao, Baguio, Iloilo, Zamboanga, CDO, Legazpi, Lucena, Pagadian, Tuguegarao, Catarman and in Hong Kong.

The PRC and the Board for Professional Teachers noted that the results of examination with respect to thirty three (33) examinees were withheld pending final determination of their liabilities under the rules and regulations governing licensure examination.
