NU Defeated FEU in Game 1 of UAAP Men’s Volleyball Finals

The Finals of the UAAP Season 75 Men’s Volleyball championships results put the National University Bulldogs (NU) ahead after they beat the defending champions Far Eastern University (FEU) Tamaraws in Game 1.

The match ended with the final score at 16-25, 18-25, 25-13, 25-17 and 15-8. The Bulldogs were able to recover from first two sets deficit against the depending Volleyball champion.

Leading the NU Bulldogs charges was Peter Den Mar Torres who finised with 18 points on 13 attacks, four blocks and one ace. The Tamaraws on the other hand were playing without injured star setter Pitrus de Ocampo.

The Bulldogs forced an extension during the game after the third set at 25-13 and eventually winning the Game 1 of the UAAP Men’s Volleyball Finals.

The Game 2 of the UAAP Men’s Volleyball Finals will be held this coming March 6, 2013 at the SM Mall of Asia Arena.
