The blog site PhilNews.Ph is currently ranking among the top 1,000 websites in the Philippines based upon it’s Alexa Ranking. We are also getting high volume of traffics mostly from the Philippines.
We are going to share to you a short history of the site since the first day we bought the domain last April 2012, although we have posted only a few articles during that time but we focused our efforts to take it the next level on August, currently the site have also got a Page Rank #3 after six months of efforts.
Last August 2012, we started to employ some tactics in making the site more visible especially to the Filipinos not only in the Philippines but worldwide. For the past few months we have employed different strategies but we don’t call ourselves as an SEO expert. We are just doing some of the simplest tasks that will surely be applicable also to other bloggers.
The main author of this blog has no experience in blogging but decided to venture into it, although he was already an OFW earning a decent income abroad. The author teamed-up with one of the most well-known bloggers in the Philippines but his main blog focused on programming.
The techniques of PhilNews.Ph in getting higher Alexa Rankings and making it to the top page of Google Search were revealed in a website dedicated only for those who want to blog or want to earn an extra income while working from home. The founder was also involved in an e-book titled “How I Earned P80,000 A Month Blogging Blogging During My Free Time.”

The Philippine News website was also considered as one of the Top Blogs in the Philippines based upon the statistics we got from Topblogs.com.ph but unfortunately we decided to leave Top Blogs to avoid jealousy among the top bloggers who are already in the blogging business for the past few years and wondered why a new blog make it to the top lists.
Instead of showing our achievement through our website at PhilNews we decided to share whatever knowledge and techniques we have in a separate website.
