Sisterakas: Second Highest Grossing Pinoy Films

Sisterakas is now considered as the second highest-grossing Filipino films if the figures coming from Kris Aquino is really the real income of Sisterakas. Kris Aquino earlier tweeted that the film Sisterakas has earned over P283 million after only 10 days in cinemas nationwide.

Kris Aquino tweeted earlier that “As of Jan. 3, 2013 Sisterakas P283,467,640.89. Thank You!”

The 10-day box-office income of Sisterakas surp(–foul word(s) removed–)ed the total earnings of the romance-drama film “No Other Woman,” which was previously in second in ranking based upon the data from Box Office Mojo.

The movie “No Other Woman” (2011) had a total box-office take of P278.39 million while the movie “Praybeyt Benjamin” 2011 earned P331.61 million, the highest grossing Filipino Films based upon Box Office Mojo.

The movie “The Mistress” (previously third) had a total box-office take of P262.82 million is now in the fourth place. Sisterakas will continue to challenge the box office income of Praybeyt Benjamin as will continue to be shown until January 8, 2013.

  1. Kaya pang maungusan ng Sisterakas ang PB sa box office gross, malamang ma extend pa ito at umabot til 4th or 5th week sa dami ng gustong manood.
