Philippines most famous furniture designers and one of Cebu’s finest artist, Kenneth Cobonpue won the “Best of Year Award,” from Interior Design Magazine in the Outdoor Furniture Seating Category.
Cobonpue’s Cabaret Collection was able to grab the top prize. Among the finalists were Herman Miller and Dedon. This is the second time that the Cabaret Collection has been awarded.
The Cabaret Collection was also adjudged as the winner of the equally prestigious Architectural Digest Home Design Show for Top Pick Award for Innovation by the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID) in New York last May, 2012.
Meanwhile the preeminent annual design competition, hosted by Interior Design Magazine have gathered over 800 vibrant members of the design and architecture community to celebrate the 2012 Best of Year Awards. Projects were honored in 45 different categories, while Products received awards in 52 categories.
