The Philippine Azkals defeated Singapore with an amazing display of tight defense especially the efforts made by Filipino goalkeeper Eduard Sacapano who was able to depend the goal well despite the absence of regular keeper Neil Etheridge.
Marwin Angeles also scored his second goal as an Azkals after he was able to put the ball on goal from an (–foul word(s) removed–)ist made by Reichelt which started from a cross p(–foul word(s) removed–) from Phil Younghusband.
The Philippine Azkals will now have the confident as they prepare for the upcoming Suzuki Cup 2012. The second game between the Azkals and Singapore ended with the final score at 1-0.
