The biggest and one of the most popular reality-game-show on television “Survivor USA” will showcase the island of Caramoan in Camarines Sur, according to the announcement made by Jeff Probst, the show’s host, during the broadcast of the season 24 finale. The Survivor USA Season 25 have already started their shooting since March 2012.
The show announced further that the Season 25 of Survivor USA will be dubbed as “Survivor Philippines,” the show’s host also made a special mention with Governor LRay Villafuerte for the endless supports accorded to the production crew of Survivor.
Caramoan islands has also emerged as one of the top destination for water sport enthusiasts all over the world and was chosen as one of the 10 best islands and beaches in the Philippines by CNN.
The island was previously used by Survivor France in 2008, followed by Survivor Israel, Survivor Bulgaria and Serbia in 2009. The Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Belgium and Indian Edition followed also last 2010.
In honor of the Philippines the Survivor USA Season 25 will named the tribes according to Philippine Mammals.
Tribal Names for the latest season 25:
- Kalabaw (Carabao)
- Tandang (Rooster)
- Matsing (Monkey)
