The Philippines second-highest ranking official admitted that his childhood dream is to become the President of the Republic of the Philippines. The revelation was made during an interview conducted by Yahoo News in the office of the Vice-President at the Coconut Palace.
The former Mayor of Makati City rose to prominence when he spearheaded the economic achievement of the formerly unknown Makati into the most successful city in the Philippines which was being used by national and international corporations as the their head office. It is now the Philippines largest central business district.
The 2016 election may be far from now and the election issue is unusual but all eyes were now focused on the plans of the Vice-President as the country is still facing numerous problems. The Aquino Administration were also doing its best to cope up with the rising demand of the Filipino people. The Aquino government have already made a significant contributions for the good of the Filipino people but not all issues were answered so the people were still looking for an alternative and they were now focusing on the plans of the Vice-President.
Vice-President Jejomar Binay also stressed out that he is giving his all-out-support to the Aquino administration and gave praises to the working capabilities of the President of the Republic. Although the two highest ranking officials will possibly split on the next presidential election, they were both working together as a team.
