Apple Icon: Steve Jobs

Various company CEOs and personalities across the world react upon knowing the news that Apple’s icon, Steve Jobs, p(–foul word(s) removed–)ed away.

Just this Wednesday, Apple unveiled the magnificent iPhone 4S. A day after iPhone 4S was released, Apple made another huge announcement saying that the company’s co-founder Steve Jobs p(–foul word(s) removed–)ed away at the age of 56. Jobs battled against cancer in the past few months.

Such breaking news saddened the world. People engaged in tech industries as well as in big businesses express their deep sympathy on many social networking sites like Facebook, Twitter and the latest Google+.

Apple Inc. itself urged individuals to send their thoughts and condolences via email as they informed the world about the loss of one of their greatest icon.

Famous individuals like Bill Gates and Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg paid tribute to Jobs. Tim Cook, who took over the Jobs’ position after his resignation last August 25, also gave his condolences to Steve Jobs and his family.

Bill Gates, who had closely known Steve Jobs for many years, also expressed his honour to his former colleague.

Zuckerberg on the other hand was grateful for Jobs because the former Apple CEO became his mentor back then. As a friend, Zuckerberg also said that he will be missing Steve Jobs.

Apple icon, Steve Jobs, made significant contributions in the world of technology. With his brilliant ideas and innovations, lives were transformed and made a lot easier. His accomplishments could tell that he is indeed a genius.

CNN even described that millions of people were “iSad”.

Even the US President Barack Obama and his wife Michelle also extended their sympathy and prayers by recalling Jobs’ greatness and contributions towards the world of technology. According to President Obama, Steve Jobs “exemplified the spirit of American ingenuity”.

Other individuals in the field of politics and entertainment also expressed each of their own thoughts and sympathy through their personal blogs and official Twitter accounts.

The former California First Lady,Maria Shriver, made a post via Twitter saying that she will temporarily turn off all her Apple gadgets this night to give honour to Steve.

Steve Jobs is truly a visionary. He will always be remembered as one of the greatest innovator and even a hero in this modern time.
