Well for this young girl who was given the rare opportunity to become a Mayor-for-a-Day had chosen to rename a portion of Main Street in Forney, Texas in behalf of the famous teen singer Justin Bieber.
Odd as it might seem, but giving a new name to such local street for Bieber’s namesake made Caroline Gonzalez popular in many internet sites at present.
Gonzalez seemingly baptized the part of that local street as “Justin Bieber Way” last August 16.
Several media explains that the eleven-year-old Caroline Gonzalez had won in the competition launched in Facebook where everyone vied for the chance of being the Mayor of Forney in just one day.
The purpose of the said Facebook competition is to be able to encourage young individuals to gain interest in the field of politics.
Gonzalez, who has been actively participating in many worthwhile community projects, got her desired title as a “Mayor for a Day”. This 11-year-old girl was also engaged in other community projects such as recycling to benefit her fellow citizens. She is also one of the student council in her school. This proof that she is an active citizen made Gonzalez won that Facebook competition.
After winning her desired political title, the “Justin Bieber Way” was said to be her primary move. This is due to the fact that Gonzalez is a Justin Bieber fanatic.
Gonzalez formulated this idea simply because she likes Justin along with his trending music.
Local officials within the hometown of Gonzalez stated that the $20 sign had been displayed just last Tuesday to grant the approval of Caroline Gonzalez being the Texas Mayor-for-a-Day.
