Joseph Bitangcol , television actor together with 5 others were involved in a vehicular accident before dawn Wednesday and were reportedly injured.
The group together with Bitangcol were riding a Mitsubishi Montero and on their way to a videoke bar in Antipolo. Their vehicle was reportedly sideswiped by a 10-wheeler Isuzu truck that makes their vehicle twirl before it happened to crushed into a post.
The injured p(–foul word(s) removed–)engers were immediately rushed to the Amang Rodriguez Medical Center in Marikina City, Antipolo police chief Superintendent Robino Elfa also said that the location of the accident was a curve path.
Bitangcol got some injuries on his face while the 5 others had acquired bruises and body fractures. The truck driver identified as Victor Beltran didn’t suffer any injury, but already under custody by police. He will about to face charges for reckless imprudence resulting in damage to property and multiple physical injuries.
The driver claims in an interview with GMA news that he was driving slowly and it was the SUV that at speed.
Bitangcol and 5 other persons that police identified as Vanessa Becina, Karria Isleta, Mark Cendeno, James de Luna and the vehicle’s driver Leandro Ong were currently investigated whether they were drunk when the accident happened.
As reported, Bitangcol was transferred to the Marikina Valley Hospital at 10 this morning.
Bitangcol was a former Kapamilya talent and a “Star Circle Quest” contender. He was also Sandara Park’s ex-boyfriend popularly known as a member of K-pop 2ne1.
