John Emmanuel Sison or JE Sison is now free at last after three years of jail terms in Cebu. He was acquitted in a stabbing incident case after a buy-bust operation held in Cebu. JE Sison was one of the finalist of ABS-CBN’s TV Idol of the defunct show Magandang Tanghali Bayan.
JE Sison was born on May 3, 1986 in Olongapo City. He was the eldest among four children, the only boy in the family the rest were girls. He was the son of the Mr. Ronnel Sison and Valentina Sison. The actor had studied at Far Eastern University taking up Nursing but studied only for two years.
The 25-year old former TV Idol had been released from prison last July 13, 2011 and he returned to Manila on July 18. He had been in prison for more than 3 years serving jail terms after a buy-bust drug incidents in Cebu.
In an interview with Boy Abunda, today July 18, the former actor made some revelations regarding his life in prison. He also told his life story before he was jailed. JE Sison had played the role of a gay user on the film Bikini Open during his 2005 film appearance at the peak of his career.
JE told Boy Abunda that he was actually using drugs during his popularity as a celebrity. The first drug that he was involved with was the Ecstasy. He also tried another drugs which were popular among celebrities. He described his showbiz life as a happy-go-lucky guy.
According to JE he learned so much when he was on jail, he wanted to thanks those people who were always there for him. He always remembered the sacrifices of his family especially his parents. He was also thankful for the people inside the jail that have respected him.
One of his revelations given to Boy Abunda and the viewing public was his admission that he had a son during his days in showbiz but he kept on denying it before. The young actor admitted that he was now a father no matter what happen to his career.
One of the most memorable things that he will always remember during his release was the pronouncement of the judge and he was just a victim and he was just at the wrong place at the wrong time.
