Gerald Anderson to play the Lead Role for the Series “Budoy”

Being one of the most notable Filipino actors in this generation, Gerald Anderson finds another door of opportunity as he was chosen to play the lead role for the newest ABS-CBN television series entitled “Budoy”.

In line with the prime time shows of the Kapamilya network, Anderson will be able to face a new challenging role as Budoy is anticipated to illustrate a story in which characters will be facing several twists to let it define peculiarity.

An overwhelming reaction was heard upon the young actor as Anderson excitedly mentions some of the famous artists that he will be working with. Among those artists will be Zsa Zsa Padilla, Mylene Dizon, and the returning Kapamilya star Janice de Belen.

Anderson also shares that he will be having a new leading lady, Jessy Mendiola. He is happy to work with the stunning actress once again. Both of them already have experienced working on the same set titled as Kung Tayo’y Magkakalayo. This is somewhat be a challenging role for the young actor as their chemistry would seemingly be tested.

Because of this, several questions were raised in connection to his current relationship with Kim Chiu, known to be his former leading lady. He answered that both of them were already used to work without being together. In fact, he doesn’t involve himself when it comes to whoever will court the young actress. At present, Anderson also reveals that dating would always be welcome to him.

On the other hand, the new female lead star Jessy Mendiola is even astonished knowing that she will soon be working with the most prestigious personalities in showbiz. Mendiola also prepares herself on the future comments that may rise from the fans of Kimerald, referred to the admirers of the former couple Kim Chiu and Gerald Anderson. It is expected that Mendiola will be playing a more mature role in this prime time soap.

Meanwhile, Anderson also shares his hopes that young children will be able to get some moral lessons from the latest TV series Budoy. Called as an “advocacy-serye”, Budoy will emphasize the value of education among the Filipino youth while stressing those individuals known to be mentally-challenged.
