Manila, Philippines – Another candidate of the Binibining Pilipinas Charities Inc. (BPCI) has once again polish off from the official list of 40 lovely ladies for this year’s pageant.

The said candidate is recognized as Maria Paula Bianca Paz, and rumoured to be as an ex-girlfriend of the actor Polo Ravales that is currently being linked to the model Andrew Wolfe.

Paz confirmed her disqualification via twitter writing, “goodbye Binibining Pilipinas, and good luck to all the ladies.”

It is said to be that the reason for her disqualification was an offshoot of a calendar that spread she did two years ago.

In her facebook Page, Paz explained about the issue of her disqualification that the offshoot of a calendar she did two years ago apparently didn’t set well with BPCI. “Unfortunately, BPCI didn’t have the same opinion of the said shoot and so as of today I have been officially disqualified,” she said in an FB shout-out on Thursday, March 17, 2011.

“I would also like to make clear that there are no, I repeat No nude Photos or sex videos’ any where existing,” she firmly took her stand.

“I respect the BPCI’s decision and refuse to make the issue any bigger than it already is, “she added.

“I only asked that everyone does the same and refrain themselves from making false judgement and ignorant accusations towards me and anyone else involved. At this point it’s all very unnecessary.”

Last year Paz was proclaimed as Miss Photogenic when she represented the Philippines in the Asian Supermodel search in China. She was also the official candidate of the Binibining Pilipinas that was placed 6th in the overall final standings in the year 2009.

Aside from Paz, another candidate was being taken off the pageant by the name of Roxanne Cabanero , because of numerous raunchy photos featuring her , circulating over the Internet.

On the other hand the BPCI stated that their “through screening” would sometimes uncover “violations and misrepresentations” that would warrant the disqualification if the candidate. “Also it is not inclined to delve out the issue any further for the sake of preserving the the integrity of the pageant and the reputation of all concerned parties,” the BPCI added.

Polishing off candidates from the official list isn’t new to the BPI.
