After winning his fight against the Mexican Boxer, Fernando Montiel, the “Filipino Flash” Nonito Donaire has singed a deal with Oscar de la Hoya’s Golden Boy Promotions.

The 28 years old Filipino Boxer who is currently making his name in the world of boxing has finally give in to the offer of the Golden Boy Promotion and has signed a multi-year promotional contract.

Donaire who once hold the title as the flyweight and super flyweight champion has recently added two more titles in his list including the World Boxing Council and the World Boxing Organization bantamweight titles.

In his 10 years in boxing, Donaire has professional record of 26 wins with 18 knockouts and no losses. His last fight to Montiel where in he won against the Mexican boxer became the high lights of his career in Boxing as his ranking in the competitive boxing hall of fame rise up.

The Filipino boxer is now looking forward to his next fight this year to defend his crown which will be held as soon as May 28, however his opponent is still unknown.

In one of his interview, Donaire said that he is very much honored that he is part of the Golden Boy Promotions knowing that it already holds many great fighters trough out the years. He made a plea that every time he has a fight he put all his heart on it to win the battle.

Analyst for Showtime Championship Boxing Bernstein gave an advise to the Filipino boxer that if he wants to stay in the game and make his way to the path of greatness he needs to take care of himself.

He further said that Doinaire must learn to overcome the controversies especially involving his family as well as the media.
