Atty. Bruce Rivera took to social media and express his reactions against the bashers of Philippine’s bet Maxine Medina For Miss Universe 2016 competition.

As the Coronation night nears and reigning Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach will crown her successor in a star-studded grand finale ceremony that will be held in the Philippines.

Many Filipinos are in doubt that Medina will have a back to back win in the Philippines.

As she already disappoint the viewers in her past interviews. Others bash the candidate for her bad grammar when she answers the questions in her previous interviews, many people doubt that she will win the pageant.

There are only three days left before the coronation night of Miss Universe 2016 that will be held at the Mall of Asia Arena, but Philippine bet Maxine Medina is getting more flak than praise from netizens.

But a well-known lawyer and prominent supporter of Mayor Rodrigo Duterte, Atty. Bruce V. Rivera took to social media and defended Maxine Medina.

In his Facebook account Rivera express his reactions against the bashers of Maxine Medina on social media.

“It bothers me immensely when Filipinos bash our own candidate practically wishing for her downfall. Guys, if you cannot defend our candidate then keep you mouths shut,” Rivera wrote.

Rivera pointed out in his post that Maxine is not perfect. Instead of bashing her, he urged other Filipinos to give her constructive criticisms and to support her.

Rivera ended his Facebook post by saying, “Otherwise, if you cannot support the Filipino delegate, then just be still. No reaction. No comment. Play dead.”

The Facebook post of Bruce V. Rivera caught the attention of the Pinoy online community.

In fact, it went viral and gained mixed reactions from the netizens. Some of the netizens agreed to Rivera and defended the Pinay beauty queen.

“Indeed! Please love our own…don’t bash Maxine. She represents our country, Philippines and we must be proud of her,” netizen said.

The Facebook post of Rivera was now circulating on the social media after it has been shared by some of the social media users.

The 26-year-old has become a basher favorite due to her grammatically incorrect and wordy responses, whose question-and-answer videos have already become viral on social media.

Despite of her bashers, Philippines’ bet Maxine Medina claimed that she is confident to win the crown and that she is well-prepared for the said pageant.

Many are still hoping and believe that Maxine can prove her bashers wrong as she still has some time left to perfect her so-called weakness.
